I'm going for a shorter hike with my group. Could anyone tell me what hiking gear we should carry?

For multi-day trips, you'll need at least one set of clothes to walk in, and another dry set to change into at night. Learn more about how to layer outdoor clothing. A lightweight tent, warm sleeping bag, and sleeping pad if camping overnight. A camping stove, fuel, and a lighter if you plan on cooking.

Carry essential hiking gear like sturdy boots, a backpack, a map, a first-aid kit, a flashlight, water, snacks, weather-appropriate clothing, trekking poles, and a multi-tool for a safe adventure.

For hiking, essential gear includes sturdy hiking boots, a comfortable backpack, and weather-appropriate clothing (layers, waterproof jacket). Bring a water bottle or hydration pack, navigation tools (map, compass, or GPS), and a first aid kit. Don’t forget a headlamp for visibility, snacks, and a multi-tool for emergencies. These items ensure safety, comfort, and preparedness on the trail.

Essential hiking gear includes a backpack, water, sturdy footwear, and layered clothing for various weather conditions. Bring navigation tools (map/GPS), a first aid kit, sun protection and high-energy snacks. A multi-tool, flashlight, trekking poles, and an emergency shelter (like a bivy or space blanket) are also crucial for safety and comfort on the trail.

For a successful hike, carry sturdy hiking boots, moisture-wicking clothing, and a weather-appropriate jacket. Bring a backpack with a hydration system, trail map/GPS, first aid kit, multi-tool, headlamp, and trekking poles for stability. Pack snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, and a hat for sun protection. A lightweight emergency blanket and rain gear are also useful for unexpected weather changes.
