What are the required kayak accessories for kayaking?

I have decided to go for kayaking, but it will be my first experience, and I don't know have no idea what accessories I should carry and what I won't need. It would be a great help for me if any of you could suggest to me the necessary gear or gadgets.

Essential Gear for Kayaking:

1. Personal flotation device (PFD)
2. Kayaking paddle
3. Safety whistle
4. Waterproof bags
5. Bailer/bilge pump
6. The chosen clothing should match both water conditions and weather patterns.

The list includes protection tools for the sun (a hat and shades as well as sunscreen)
Water/snacks for the adventure
