What should visitors know about Kakadu National Park?

I’m curious about Kakadu National Park—what makes it special, what wildlife can you see, and when’s the best time to visit?

It’s definitely worth it for the rock art alone. Ubirr and Nourlangie have sites dating back thousands of years. Go in the Dry Season (May to September) or half the park will be underwater.

Oh, Kakadu National Park is honestly magical, think ancient Aboriginal rock art, massive wetlands, crocs, wallabies, and tons of birdlife; I’d say go in the dry season (May–Oct) when the weather’s cooler and it’s easier to explore, I’ve always wanted to see those waterfalls in full flow!
