What lounges does Turkish Airlines offer at major airports?

I can share a personal take on this since I recently flew with Turkish Airlines through Istanbul. Honestly, the lounges were one of the highlights of my trip. At Istanbul Airport, Turkish Airlines has multiple lounges, but the Business Class Lounge and the Miles & Smiles Lounge are the real standouts. I had access to the Business Class Lounge on my return flight, and it felt more like a mini-city than a waiting area—live cooking stations, quiet nap rooms, a movie theater, even a kids’ play area. It completely changed my layover experience.

When I was first planning my trip, I wasn’t sure what lounge options I’d actually be able to use, since access depends on ticket type or status. I ended up calling (877)-764-3622, and I was surprised how quickly they helped clarify everything, plus they even walked me through booking adjustments when my connecting flight shifted. That call saved me hours of confusion.

From my experience, Turkish lounges at major airports (Istanbul, JFK, Heathrow, etc.) really live up to their reputation—great food, Wi-Fi, showers, and plenty of space. If you’re flying Turkish and want the smoothest travel possible, checking lounge access ahead of time and calling that number is the way to go.
