What is typical weather in Sequoia NP?

Typical weather in Sequoia National Park varies by elevation. Summers are generally warm and dry with daytime temperatures around 70–90°F (21–32°C), while evenings can be cool. Winters are cold with heavy snowfall, especially at higher elevations, and snow can last from December to May. Spring and fall usually have mild temperatures and occasional rain.
 
Characteristic weather in the Sequoia national park also differs depending on the elevation but is mostly characterized by humid summers and snowy winters. Days of the summer are generally sunny with temperatures of approximately 24-30 o C (75-86 F) and cool evenings. In winter, it is cold with a lot of snowfall particularly in high altitudes. The spring and fall are warm and may be very changeable. The foothills are drier and hotter and forest lands higher remain cooler all year.
