Visiting Fort Lauderdale for the first time? Which beaches, canals, restaurants, and local attractions should travelers explore to experience the city fully?

I completely agree with the suggestions to visit the historic Stranahan House and the Bonnet House Museum and Gardens in Fort Lauderdale. However, I also highly recommend checking out the NSU Art Museum, it's a hidden gem that often gets overlooked by tourists. The museum features an impressive collection of art from around the world, including works by Picasso, Matisse, and Monet.

If it’s your first time in Fort Lauderdale, definitely stroll along Las Olas Boulevard, relax at Las Olas Beach, and maybe take a water taxi through the canals. I’d also check out Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale and grab dinner by the water somewhere along Las Olas for the full vibe.
