Planning a Mexican getaway! Which cities, beaches, or cultural spots are absolute must-visits to fully enjoy the country?

Here are some top tourist destinations in Mexico:
  • Cancún – Beaches and nightlife
  • Mexico City – Culture, museums, history
  • Tulum – Ruins + beach vibes
  • Playa del Carmen – Resorts and shopping
  • Cabo San Lucas – Luxury and sea views
  • Guadalajara – Tequila and traditions
  • Oaxaca – Food and culture

I completely agree with the top destinations mentioned in this thread, especially Tulum and Cancun, but I want to add that Puerto Vallarta is also an amazing spot, especially for beach lovers and those looking for a more laid-back atmosphere. The Malecon is a beautiful promenade lined with shops and restaurants, and the nearby Sierra Madre mountains offer great opportunities for outdoor adventures like hiking and horseback riding.

You can’t go wrong with Cancún and Tulum for beaches, plus Mexico City for culture and food, and definitely check out Chichén Itzá it’s one of those places that just stays with you after you leave

Mexico has so much to offer, I think you should definitely check out Cancun and Tulum for the beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters, and if you're interested in history and culture, Mexico City is a must-visit with its ancient Aztec ruins and vibrant city life. Puerto Vallarta is another great spot for a mix of beach relaxation and outdoor activities like snorkeling and horseback riding. If you have time, try to visit some of the colonial towns like San Miguel de Allende or Guanajuato, they're full of charm and character, and the food is amazing everywhere you go, so be sure to try all the local dishes and drinks.
