I am planning to go to Salt Lake City, but I do not have no idea what things I can do there. If any of you have been there or are local, I would appreciate hearing about your experience. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Temple Square is the heart of Salt Lake City and home to the iconic Salt Lake Temple and Tabernacle. Take a free guided tour to learn about the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The beautiful gardens, historic buildings, and architecture make it a peaceful and culturally rich spot for all visitors.

Located near the foothills, this museum offers interactive exhibits on dinosaurs, geology, and Native American culture. With stunning views of the valley and hands-on learning areas, it’s a must-visit for families, science enthusiasts, and anyone curious about Utah’s natural wonders.

Liberty Park is a local favorite, perfect for relaxing or being active. It features walking trails, paddle boats, tennis courts, and the Tracy Aviary. The shady trees and large open spaces make it ideal for picnics, jogging, or simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon in nature.

Salt Lake City is just 30–45 minutes from world-class ski resorts like Alta, Snowbird, and Park City. In winter, enjoy powdery slopes and breathtaking mountain scenery. During warmer months, these resorts offer hiking, mountain biking, and scenic gondola rides. It’s a year-round outdoor paradise.

Take a self-guided or guided tour of the Utah State Capitol building to admire its neoclassical architecture, historical exhibits, and panoramic views of Salt Lake City. Located on Capitol Hill, it’s both a political landmark and a great photo spot with beautiful grounds.
