I've been to Reno a few times and it's a great city with a lot to offer, there's the National Automobile Museum which is really cool if you're into cars, and the Riverwalk District is a fun place to walk around and grab a bite to eat, they also have some pretty sweet events and concerts during the summer months. If you're feeling adventurous you could always check out the nearby ski resorts like Mt Rose or Squaw Valley, or if you're looking for something a bit more low key you could always try your luck at one of the many casinos, I've heard the Eldorado is a good spot to catch a show or try some of their restaurants.
