Is it worth to carry backpacking chair for a traveler?

Backpacking chairs can make sense to use if your priority when you go camping is having comfort in the great outdoors. They give better support compared to sitting on the ground, but for hikers who prefer light loads, using such a chair might not be advisable due to the additional weight it adds even though it is portable and comfortable.

"I'd say it's worth carrying a backpacking chair if you're the type of traveler who loves unwinding in nature at the end of the day. It's a great way to relax and take in the views after a long hike. Just make sure it's lightweight and compact, so it doesn't weigh you down. I'd recommend the REI Co-op Camp X Chair - it's a great option!"

Honestly, I only carry one if I know I’ll be camping or sitting outdoors a lot, otherwise it just feels like extra weight. If you like comfort during breaks, it’s nice, but for regular travel I’d skip it.
