Is a rucking backpack worth getting?

Yeah, it’s worth it if you plan to ruck regularly, especially with heavier weights, because proper rucking backpacks are built to distribute load better, stay stable, and not wreck your shoulders or back like a normal bag can. That said, if you’re just starting or doing lightweight, you can get by with a sturdy regular backpack first and upgrade later once you know you’ll stick with it.

Honestly, it depends what you’re into if you’re planning weighted walks then yeah a rucking backpack is solid, but for regular runs I’d go with a running backpack since it’s way more comfortable. I’ve tried both and the running one just feels lighter and less annoying on longer runs.
