To use a credit from a canceled Delta Air Lines flight, go to “My Trips” on Delta’s website or app and start a new booking. When you reach the payment page, choose eCredit and enter the ticket or credit number linked to your canceled flight. The credit is usually applied automatically to the new fare. I’ve done this before, and it works just like paying with a gift card. Just make sure you book before the credit expires and that the new flight is in the same passenger’s name.
