How to go from Venice to Rome?

I was on a trip to Venice, and now I am thinking of extending my plan and visit Rome. Can anyone tell me how to go from Venice to Rome?

To travel from Venice to Rome, you have several options:
  1. Train: High-speed trains (Trenitalia or Italo) take about 3.5–4 hours from Venezia Santa Lucia to Roma Termini. Fast, comfortable, and scenic.
  2. Flight: ~1 hour 10 minutes, plus airport transfers and security time. Good for tight schedules.
  3. Bus: Budget-friendly, 7–8 hours, but slower than trains.
  4. Car: ~6–7 hours via A1 autostrada, offering flexibility but involves tolls and traffic.
Tip: For convenience and speed, high-speed trains are generally the best choice.
