Frontier definitely charges for carry-on bags, and I learned that lesson on a trip to Orlando. The rep explained everything clearly and even helped me modify my booking to include the carry-on at a cheaper rate. Since then, I either stick to a backpack that counts as free or pre-pay for the bag when I buy the ticket. That number has been a lifesaver anytime I’ve needed to instantly book, cancel, or adjust a flight with Frontier.
