United offers a Veterans Advantage (WeSalute+) program that gives U.S. active-duty military, veterans, reservists, National Guard, and their families a 5% discount on United/United Express flights (excludes Basic Economy) when booked via United.com. Active-duty travellers also get free checked bags, priority boarding, and United Club lounge access when presenting military ID or travel orders at the airport
