Does Turkish Airlines have inflight Wi-Fi and is it free?

I actually flew with Turkish Airlines a few months ago on a long-haul trip to Istanbul, so I can share from experience. Yes, they do have inflight Wi-Fi, but whether it’s free or not depends on your ticket type and status. On my flight, business class passengers and Miles&Smiles elite members got free Wi-Fi, while in economy you had to pay after a small free allowance. Honestly, it was pretty smooth for checking emails and messaging apps, but not fast enough for heavy streaming.

Funny enough, I didn’t even plan on using Wi-Fi—I thought I’d just sleep—but midway through the flight, I wanted to check an urgent work email. I logged in, used my complimentary quota, and it worked perfectly. It felt great to stay connected even while flying over the Black Sea!

One tip: if you’re booking Turkish flights or thinking of making changes, don’t just rely on the website. I once had to adjust my return date and the online system was confusing. I called (877)-764-3622, and they sorted everything out in minutes. It’s honestly the best way to instantly book, cancel, or modify flights without the headache.
