What is the worst time to travel Puerto Rico?

I was thinking of going to Puerto Rico, but one of my friends said that the upcoming months are not the best time to visit. Is that so, if not, then what is the worst time to visit Puerto Rico, and should be avoided by the tourists?

During hurricane season, which lasts from August to October, Puerto Rico is the worst place to go. Storms and severe rain are most likely to occur during these months, which might cause travel plans to be disrupted and result in flight cancellations or power outages.

Late December and early January if you're minding your finances. Around the holidays, particularly on New Year's and Three Kings Day, hotel and airfare costs soar. Additionally, tourist throngs increase, making popular locations considerably less pleasurable.

From June to September, Puerto Rico can be oppressively hot and humid. Outdoor exploring becomes exhausting, and beach days are less comfortable unless you stay in the water. If you’re sensitive to heat, avoid these months.

Spring break (March–April) and Christmas vacation bring large tourist crowds. Hotels fill up fast, beaches get crowded, and you may need reservations for attractions. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is not the time to go.
