What beaches can be visited from Orlando?

Orlando is centrally located in Florida, making it easy to visit several beautiful beaches within a short drive. East Coast beaches like Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach are about 1–1.5 hours away and perfect for surfing and family fun. On the West Coast, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, and Siesta Key are 2–2.5 hours from Orlando, offering soft white sand, calm waters, and stunning sunsets. Other options include New Smyrna Beach for a quieter vibe or Canaveral National Seashore for natural landscapes. These beaches provide a mix of relaxation, adventure, and scenic views just a short trip from Orlando.

From Orlando, you can visit nearby beaches like Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach (Atlantic coast), and Clearwater Beach or St. Pete Beach (Gulf coast), all within a 1–2 hour drive.

Honestly, Orlando itself doesn’t have beaches, but Cocoa Beach and Clearwater Beach are my go-tos. Cocoa’s great for swimming and a laid-back vibe, while Clearwater feels perfect for a chill, all-day beach hang with gorgeous water.
