Hey, has anyone been to Secret Cove in Lake Tahoe lately? Is it still as beautiful and quiet as people say? Any tips for first-time visitors?

Secret Cove is an east shore beach of Tahoe where clothing is optional. It is also beautiful but extremely busy; it is best to park at Secret Harbor before 8 AM. Look forward to a half-mile, steep descent. Follow Leave No Trace guidelines, carry lots of water and appreciate the culture of nudity in the area.

Visiting guidelines for Secret Cove (Secret Cove):
- Access by hike (about 0.5–1 mile, steep in parts)
- Pack out all trash (no facilities like BBQs/picnic tables)
- No campfires allowed
- Dogs allowed with restrictions (clean up after them)
- Cold water & safety caution (no lifeguards)
- Clothing-optional area—respect others’ privacy
