What are the best things to do in Playa del Carmen with family?

My family is visiting soon, and I'm looking for suggestions on things to do in Playa del Carmen with family. We'd enjoy beaches, cultural attractions, nature experiences, and activities suitable for both kids and adults. Any tips would be helpful.

Families visiting Playa del Carmen can enjoy relaxing on beautiful beaches, exploring eco-parks like Xcaret Park, snorkeling in nearby cenotes, strolling along Fifth Avenue, and taking family-friendly day trips to Tulum Ruins. It’s a great mix of adventure, nature, and cultural experiences for all ages.

Playas del Carmen is family friendly. Enjoy a day at Xcaret Park to see animals, witness culture and enjoy water activities. From exploring Fifth Avenue, riding the ferry to Cozumel to visiting the beautiful beaches, there are plenty of ways to explore and enjoy. The activities are enjoyable, relaxing and memorable for all ages.

If you're visiting Harrisonburg with family, the Edith J. Carrier Arboretum is great for a relaxing walk, and the Explore More Discovery Museum is fun for younger kids. My favorite family-friendly option is usually Shenandoah National Park nearby, where you can enjoy scenic drives and easy hikes together. Downtown Harrisonburg also has plenty of local restaurants, shops, and seasonal events that make for a nice day out.
