What are the best restaurants in Los Angeles?

It really depends on what kind of food and vibe you want since LA has everything from street tacos to fine dining. For a great mix, people usually recommend Bestia (Italian), Bavel (Middle Eastern), Republique (brunch/French-inspired), Holbox (seafood), Musso & Frank Grill (classic old-school Hollywood), and Guelaguetza for amazing Oaxacan Mexican food. If I had to pick one, I’d say Bestia lived up to the hype for me, but reservations can be tough.

LA has so much but if I had to pick a few that consistently come up, Bestia for Italian, Bavel for Middle Eastern, and Guelaguetza for Oaxacan food are all really special, just book Bestia well in advance because getting a table last minute is rough.

"I've got a soft spot for Guerrilla Tacos in the Grand Central Market - their Baja-style fish tacos are insane. Also, if you're in the mood for something a bit fancier, Vespertine in Culver City is a visually stunning spot with a killer menu. Can't go wrong with either one"
