I wasn’t sure if Priceline’s trip protection was worth the extra money, but I tried it once for peace of mind. Good thing I did—my return flight got canceled because of weather, and I had to rebook. Without the protection, I would’ve lost what I paid for the hotel night I missed, but they covered it. The process wasn’t complicated either. I called 866-204-0803, which I normally use for booking and flight changes, and they explained exactly what was covered and how to file. It doesn’t cover every little thing, but for big disruptions, it definitely saved me. Personally, I don’t add it for short weekend trips, but for longer or pricier vacations, I think it’s worth it.
