I’ve flown with British Airways quite a few times over the years, and I’ve always felt completely safe with them. One trip that really sticks in my mind was a winter flight from London to Toronto when the weather was rough, and a lot of flights were getting delayed. Naturally, I was a bit nervous—flying in bad weather is never fun—but the professionalism of the crew and the way everything was handled gave me a lot of confidence in their safety standards.
Before takeoff, the captain came on the intercom to explain the situation clearly. He talked about the de-icing process, possible turbulence, and even gave an estimated time for smoother skies. It made such a difference hearing that level of communication. The flight attendants were calm, friendly, and constantly checking on everyone, which helped ease any tension in the cabin.
Even when my connecting flight was rescheduled due to the weather, British Airways managed everything efficiently through their app, sending updates and rebooking me automatically. That experience really reinforced my trust in them. They seem to take safety and customer care seriously, not just in the air but throughout the entire travel process. I’d say they’re one of the airlines I feel most comfortable flying with.
