How is british airways economy class

I flew British Airways economy class last summer on a trip from New York to London, and honestly, it was a much better experience than I expected for a long-haul economy flight. I had booked my ticket months in advance because I found a decent deal during one of their sales, and even though I was a little nervous about flying such a long distance in economy, the experience turned out to be quite comfortable overall.

When I boarded, the cabin crew greeted everyone warmly, and the atmosphere felt relaxed. The seats were a bit snug, but they had good padding and adjustable headrests, which made a big difference on a seven-hour flight. Each seat had a personal entertainment screen with a solid mix of movies, shows, and music — plenty to keep me occupied. I especially appreciated that they handed out a small blanket and pillow, which made it easier to rest.

The food wasn’t fancy, but it was genuinely enjoyable. I chose a chicken curry dish, and it was surprisingly flavorful. The crew came around frequently offering drinks, and they were polite and cheerful even toward the end of the flight. What stood out most, though, was how smooth the whole process was.

A friend of mine once had to change her flight due to a last-minute issue, and British Airways’ customer service handled it quickly without extra hassle. That gave me confidence in their flexibility.

Overall, I’d say British Airways economy class offers great value — especially for international routes. It’s not luxury, but it’s reliable, clean, and comfortable enough that I’d absolutely fly with them again.
