How does Norway landscape vary across different regions?

I’ve seen photos and I’m curious—can you explain what makes the Norway landscape so unique, from fjords and mountains to coastlines?

Norway’s landscape varies greatly by region. Western Norway has dramatic fjords, steep mountains, and heavy rain from glaciers carving deep valleys. Eastern inland features forests, broad valleys, and gentler hills with warmer summers and colder winters. Northern Norway shows rugged coastlines, islands, tundra, and Arctic conditions with sparse vegetation.

The landscape in Norway is quite diverse. The west has fjords, precipitous cliffs and waterfalls. Eastern Norway is forested, valley and farmland. The north contains the Arctic tundra and harsh mountains, whereas the South contains more smooth hills, lakes and the coastal terrain is mild.

The topography of Norway varies greatly by region: the North is dominated by Arctic tundra, the East has vast forested valleys, and the West has steep mountains and deep glacial fjords.
