I’ve flown in British Airways’ World Traveller class several times, and it’s always been a comfortable and dependable experience for long-haul trips. One particular flight that stands out was my journey from London to Los Angeles. I had originally planned to travel a week earlier, but my work schedule changed at the last minute. I dreaded the idea of trying to modify an international booking, but British Airways’ website made it surprisingly simple. I managed to change my flight date with just a few clicks, and the whole process was smooth.
World Traveller is basically their standard economy class for long-haul flights, but it feels a step above what many other airlines offer. The cabin was clean, the seats had decent legroom, and the headrest could be adjusted just right for sleeping. I really appreciated the little details—like the amenity kit with headphones, blanket, and pillow. The in-flight entertainment was packed with new movies and shows, so I didn’t feel the flight drag on.
The crew made the trip even better. They were attentive and genuinely friendly, checking in often and serving meals that actually tasted good. It reminded me why I like flying with British Airways: even in economy, you feel looked after from start to finish.
