Yes — if you hold the The Platinum Card® from American Express, you can access the Delta Sky Club® lounges, but only under certain conditions:

  • You must be flying on a same-day ticket that is marketed or operated by Delta Air Lines (or a qualifying partner) and not in the cheapest “Basic Economy” fare.
  • Starting February 1 2025, Platinum Card members receive 10 visits per membership year, unless you spend at least US$75,000 in eligible purchases in a calendar year — then you unlock unlimited visits through the next Medallion year.
  • After these 10 included visits are used up, you may be able to purchase additional entries at a fee (and guest access is charged separately).

If you tell me your departure airport, I can check whether the Sky Club at that airport accepts the benefit and what local restrictions (hours, guest policy) might apply.

Hey! I recently tried using my Amex Platinum to access the Delta Sky Club, and I wasn’t sure if it would work at first. I called to confirm, and the agent was super helpful—they explained exactly how it works and even helped me adjust my flight so I could make the lounge visit easier. If you want to instantly book, cancel, or modify flights, calling [877-297-0699] is the easiest way. Thanks to that call, I got to enjoy the lounge without any issues, and it made my layover so much more relaxing!
